WASH HAND “ARC” Asphaltene Remover Concentrate --
CONCENTRATED, WATER-RINSABLE, NATURAL DEGREASER and SOLVENT
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: WASH HAND “ARC” is an all natural, concentrated solvent specifically formulated for the extremely heavy and sometimes baked-on or weathered oils, grease, pipe dope, grime and dirt generally located on and around oilfield equipment. WASH HAND “ARC” is a heavy duty degreasing and cleaning solvent based on d-limonene, a natural solvent distilled from citrus peels and combined with highly active, but also mostly natural surfactants and cleaning agents. The product is very clean, amber in color, and has a pleasant odor.
Formulated for use full strength and rinsed with water, WASH HAND “ARC” can be sprayed on, brushed on, or splashed on and spread with a rag. Upon soaking for a few minutes, even the heaviest of oils and asphaltenes is loosened for removal by brushing or pressure washing with plain water or water with mild surfactant (and of course hot water is better than cold).
WASH HAND “ARC” is designed specifically for the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Industry and for anyone requiring heavy-duty cleaning power where cost and environmental factors both have to be considered. WASH HAND “ARC” is a cost-effective alternative to petroleum distillates or chlorinated solvents such as trichlorethylene, perchlorethylene, methylene chloride, carbon tetrachloride and toluene with the added benefit of no or little cost of disposal. WASH HAND “ARC” is environmentally-safe, worker-safe, biodegradable, and largely made of ecologically renewable components.

100% ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: WASH HAND “ARC” provides powerful degreasing and cleaning performance. The formula is 100% active and fully concentrated... a proprietary blend of greater than 90% d-limonene (a biodegradable solvent derived from citrus peel oil) and other active solvents to assist in cleaning and rinsing asphaltenes and heavy baked-on weathered oils from you equipment and work pads. This blend of powerful, natural, grease cutting solvents and heavy duty soil removing detergents works very fast to penetrate, emulsify and remove grease, dirt, oil, tar, skid marks, carbon, creosote, cosmoline, pipe coatings and nearly any stubborn oily soil encountered in the oil and gas industry. Also use to remove graffiti, inks, adhesives, and nearly every other kind of stubborn industrial soil.
DIRECTIONS: WASH HAND “ARC” is versatile as it can be diluted in water (1:1) for lighter cleaning duties. However, it performs best when applied straight as a solvent on the toughest of grime and grease and then simply rinsed away with high pressure water.
WASH HAND “ARC” may be sprayed, brushed, sponged, or splashed onto surfaces and soils, then allowed to work a few minutes before rinsing clean with hot or cold water under pressure or with agitation. WASH HAND “ARC” dries film free after rinsing.
WASH HAND “ARC” can also be wiped up and removed with rags like most solvents if water is not desired in an area or is in short supply.
WASH HAND “ARC” Reduces Hazardous Waste permit requirements, RCRA regulation, and governmental disposal requirements! Other industrial solvents such as toluene, Xylene, trichlorethylene, perchlorethylene, toluene and chlorinated solvents require costly handling, hauling, use, and disposal practices. WASH HAND “ARC” helps pay by reducing or eliminating this extra expense.
SAFETY FEATURES: WASH HAND “ARC” is: Nontoxic. Non-corrosive. Non-carcinogenic. Contains no petroleum distillates, no butyl or harsh caustics, no nonylphenols (NPEs), no phosphates, no ozone depleting compounds (ODCs), and no hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). Not SARA Title III reportable. Readily biodegradable and made primarily from a renewable resource.
